About Sarah Jeffries, founder of First Aid at Work Course

First Aid at Work Course, established in 2011 by Sarah Jeffries, originated from a tale of personal tragedy and a subsequent fervour to empower individuals with the essential knowledge imperative to preserve lives. Sarah endured the tragic loss of a beloved friend to sudden cardiac arrest, a distressing situation intensified by the absence of requisite knowledge among the bystanders to react appropriately.

This incident sparked Sarah's determination to gain proficiency in first aid, but she perceived the available training methods to be lacklustre and tedious, predominantly dominated by extensive, monotonous PowerPoint presentations. Motivated by a renewed passion, she decided to enact change, leading to the inception of First Aid at Work Course.

Her aspiration was clear yet influential: to facilitate immersive, pragmatic life-saving workshops to the local populace and businesses. Sarah was adamant in her choice to deviate from the outdated, uninspiring educational methods. She developed a distinctive instructional approach, combining hands-on learning with multimedia facets, all elucidated in her distinctive, approachable style.

The technique Sarah developed was pioneering; it rendered pivotal information more accessible and captivating and cultivated an enhanced understanding and retention of vital life-saving procedures among participants. Under Sarah’s adept stewardship, First Aid at Work Course consistently promotes the empowerment of individuals with the confidence and knowledge imperative to act rapidly and adeptly in emergency scenarios.

2391 Inspection and Testing

Completed the C&G 2391-52 Level 3 Inspection and Testing Course today. The course was taken by Lee, who has a real wealth of knowledge and experience. It’s renowned for being a difficult course, but testament to Lee, all 6 guys passed and the week flew in. Highly recommend.

Fantastic EFAW course

I attended a EFAW course run by Bob Adam and it was fantastic. Bob brought the material to life with lots of personal examples and stories from his own experiences that really helped me learn the information. The videos were great, especially the one showing how to do CPR correctly.
